Q— How can I contact you? A— If you read our FAQ and still have a question, its best to contact us by email.
Q— I check everything; why do I need you? A— Even the best writers benefit from impartial and thorough academic proofreading and editing services. Academic editors recognize things in your documents, manuals and manuscripts that become unnoticeable to you. After you have done several drafts, reviewing and revising your words, that familiarity with the document results in your filling in missing words and skipping over errors when you read.
Q— When you're done, will my work be ready to publish? A—Your academic article or book will be print-ready subject to the state of the document when submitted to us and subject to individual publisher specifications.
Q— Why use a PhD? Can’t someone with a Master's edit my paper? A—Earning a Ph.D. requires years of concentrated and meticulous effort. Becoming a professional scholar, theorist and writer involves doctoral coursework in which the candidate must continually research, write and present studies of academic article length and quality assessed by professors who are experts in their field. The doctoral candidate then undertakes a two-day-long process called comprehensive examinations, which consist of writing broadly in a number of disciplinary areas. A committee of experts on each subject critiques the exams regarding the substantiveness and quality of content, construction, organization and prose. Only those Ph.D. candidates who pass this stage are allowed to design, write and publish a book-length primary research study called a dissertation. Again, a committee of Ph.D.s with specific expertise in the named areas evaluates the candidate's work. In order to confer the doctoral degree, they require flawlessness and excellence. This arduous process prepares us to be true editors and writers, while a Master's degree—which each of us have as well—simply does not.
