Q— I check everything; why do I need you? A— Even the best writers benefit from an impartial, professional and thorough look at their work. Manuscript editors recognize things in your manuscripts that become unnoticeable to you. After you have done several drafts, reviewing and revising your words, that familiarity with the manuscript results in your filling in missing words and skipping over errors when you read.
Q— When you're done, will my work be ready to publish? A— Your manuscript will be print-ready subject to the state of the document when submitted to us and subject to individual publisher specifications.
Q— You won't change my special formatting, will you?A— No, we work on all sorts of styles, dialects, special kinds of formatting and other types of creativity. If there is something you do not want us to edit, mention this when you email documents.
Q— May I explain something to my manuscript editor? A— If you have questions after we've done some work for you, a Client Servicesrepresentative will be happy to relay your comments and queries to your manuscript editor and then send the answers back. WordSharp does not have manuscript editors and clients talk to each other before or during the process. Your audience will not be able to chat with you while they read your manuscript. It must be able to stand on its own merit, and your manuscript editor has to be able to review your work objectively. Additionally, after you choose your service option, your manuscript is quickly routed directly to a staff member who is familiar with, and appreciates, your type of work.
Q— May I quote my manuscript editor to promote my work? May I use the WordSharp name to promote my work? A— Any feedback you receive from your manuscript editor is for the purpose of improving your work. WordSharp does not endorse or promote specific documents or manuscripts.
